Mission

Mission Statement and Goals

GOBE!one is a Swiss-African social enterprise project that aims at building a non-governmental NPO in order to provide facilities and access to computer knowledge for people in Ghana.

The main goal of GOBE!one is to transfer IT-infrastructure that is no longer used from Switzerland to Kumasi/Ghana and to build up a computer centre in close reach to an existing educational institution.

Each computer helps getting higher perspectives across to young individuals by:

(a) teaching the basic understanding of information technology and computer literacy,
(b) giving the possibility to improve their skills by creating a chance to learn, practice and use office software and the internet,
(c) fighting the digital divide and so improving the overall quality of life in Ghana
