GOBE! is a non-governmental NPO with a strong link to the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland

The Vision of GOBE!

To transfer no longer used IT-infrastructure from Switzerland to educational institutions in Africa founding several computer centres and creating the basis for improvements of computer literacy skills among students and the local community and so the overal quality of life in these emerging countries.


gobe means "tomorrow", "future", "hope" in Haussa, which is one of over 100 different languages spoken in Western Africa.

The organisation GOBE! is present in Ghana and has faithful local partners
